Daniel Núñez

DANIEL NÚÑEZ NAVARRO — FOUNDER

Spanish attorney and FIDIC Certified Contract Manager with more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in contract strategy, defense, and administration for leading Spanish construction companies in both domestic and international markets.

His career in the construction industry began at the age of 15, working on-site with PERFOX S.L., a prestigious demolition company founded by his parents 50 years ago. There, he gained first-hand experience in construction operations and project execution, laying the foundation for his later specialization and passion for legal and contractual matters.

Across his last three projects alone, he has overseen infrastructure and construction developments with a combined value exceeding USD 2 billion, including serving as Contract Manager and Exclusive Representative for the consortium responsible for delivering the Quito Metro megaproject, as well as leading major healthcare and landmark building developments.

Combining strong commercial acumen, leadership, and exceptional adaptability in international environments, he has advised on and managed more than 1,000 construction-related disputes, claims, arbitrations and legal proceedings.

He holds advanced academic training in Construction Law, Project Management, and Business Administration, and served as Vice President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Quito from 2021 to 2024.

Esteban Izurieta

ESTEBAN IZURIETA

Civil Engineer from the University of Colorado with more than 30 years of experience in contract administration and management of major infrastructure projects in Ecuador and the United States.

He has led the contractual, commercial, and document management of projects exceeding USD 2.5 billion, including energy, hydraulic infrastructure, power transmission, and civil construction projects.

His experience includes contract negotiations, claims management, dispute resolution, subcontract administration, insurance matters and contract closeout for complex projects.

He has participated in high-value judicial and administrative proceedings, as well as in the structuring and administration of EPC and concession contracts.

He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY) and brings extensive international experience in multidisciplinary technical coordination and contractual risk management.

Kristian Fallas

KRISTIAN FALLAS

He is an economist and a specialist in Project Finance, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP/P3) and infrastructure financial structuring, with more than 20 years of international experience across Latin America. He has participated in over 45 projects with an aggregate value exceeding USD 4.5 billion, leading initiatives in airports, highways, energy, transportation, telecommunications and waste management.

He brings extensive expertise in negotiations involving governments, investors, multilateral institutions and international financial entities. He held senior executive roles in landmark projects such as Quito’s Mariscal Sucre International Airport and Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaría International Airport.

His academic background includes executive studies at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in infrastructure finance and regulation, The Wharton School in entrepreneurship and innovation, MIT in sustainability, and Concordia University (Canada) in airport administration.

He is also an expert in financial modeling, structured finance and risk analysis, and serves as a trainer and speaker in PPPs, Project Finance and financial modeling.

Diego E. Fernández-Salvador

DIEGO E. FERNÁNDEZ-SALVADOR

He is a senior contract and commercial management specialist with more than 40 years of international experience in large-scale infrastructure, energy, transportation, and water projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, two of the United States’ most prestigious academic institutions.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to infrastructure projects exceeding USD 2 billion across Latin America, Africa, and North America, including metro systems, highways, bridges, refineries, and hydroelectric developments. His expertise covers EPC contracts, public-private partnerships (PPPs), project finance, contractual risk management, and dispute resolution. He has advised government agencies, concessionaires and international contractors on complex negotiations, claims management and arbitration proceedings.

His professional profile combines top-tier North American education with extensive hands-on experience leading contractual and commercial strategies for some of the region’s most significant infrastructure projects.
